  • When we decided to put on a show on Valentine's Day at the beloved Arts Center of St. Peter, I questioned my judgement... I will indeed be 34ish weeks pregnant that day. However, I am incredibly grateful for this upcoming event. It has meant the creation of a few new songs, it has forced Bethany and I to sit down for hours at a time each week and PLAY MUSIC, and it has been my solace in this troubled time. It's hard to listen to NPR without some sort of panic setting in (and I am not prone to anxiety). What to do? Show up at the airport, #resist , make art. What a gift, to get to make art and share it with people. Being with people inspires me, sharing art with people takes it a step further. This show has become more than a show, but a gathering of people to experience some beauty and love together. We will play new songs, and old songs, and very old unrecorded songs, and more covers than usual. If you are prone to create art, please keep creating, the world needs it bad. We promise we'll keep making music.
